ABA Therapy For Autism Treatment

On Target ABA is an autism therapy organization that provides in-home and in-school ABA therapy to treat children with autism.

ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy is based on decades of research and is one of the only scientifically proven effective treatments of autism available today.

One-on-one therapy under the guidance of one of our expert Board-Certified Behavior Analysts

Initially, one of our expert Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) will come meet with you and assess your child’s abilities and deficits in all developmental areas, using multiple evidence based assessment tools. Your BCBA will then create a tailor made treatment plan for your child and will direct a team of well trained Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and ABA therapists in providing 1:1 therapy in a way that your child will love and flourish.

We intentionally maintain a low BCBA to client ratio, allowing our BCBAs to properly monitor their client’s progress and constantly tweak and update each child’s therapy programs appropriately. This ensures that each child is making maximum progress in a shorter time so that they can unlock their full potential.

In-Home ABA Therapy

Home is where your child feels the safest! Besides for being a great convenience to you, conducting therapy in your home allows us to observe your child in real life and help them develop practical skills that can be incorporated into everyday living. You’ll also be able to observe therapy sessions personally, and every BCBA visit will be a great opportunity for your BCBA to provide you with practical training.

Clinic Based ABA Therapy

Our clinic in Mayfield Heights offers both full day and half day programs. We have a school readiness program that includes group activities to help our early learners prepare to typical preschool settings.

We also offer after-school services for chilren who attend school during the day.

Parental Support

In addition to the the actual ABA therapy we’ll provide you with:

Nobody spends as much time with your child as you; therefore parent participation is crucial to the success of ABA therapy. We’ll explain everything to you about our treatment plans and how you can implement them at home. This allows for the generalization of skills in all settings, not just during therapy, so that your child can develop to their fullest.

Between Sessions

Raising a child who has autism can definitely come with its set of challenges, and we’re here to assist. Whether you need advice in dealing with bedtime or with tantrum behavior, or a custom social story written to prepare your child for something, we’re here for you. You’re always welcome to call or text your child’s BCBA directly for help or advice.

We will collaborate with your child’s school, physician, and or any other service provider they may have. Your BCBA can advise teachers so that your child gets the most out of school. We also provide IEP support and your BCBA can advocate for you at IEP meetings. This way we can all be on the same page, which is very beneficial to your child’s growth.

Our Therapists

We hire staff who have experience working with children. We look for kid-friendly therapists who are capable of carrying out all the details of our ABA autism treatment plans while simultaneously providing a positive and enjoyable atmosphere to our clients. Before providing therapy to our clients all of our therapists go through a comprehensive training process to make sure they understand the principles of ABA. Many of our therapists are in the process of becoming BCBAs themselves.
